So after bitching and whining about my new job that I thought was gonna have shit all for hours... I've been asked to cover my four days off as they can't get in contact with their other prepcook. So after being trained to dishwash.. I was trained to be a prepcook on the same day that I was meant to be just a dishwasher... so now I'm doing 13/14 days in a row, with I think 4/5 of them being time and a half at 15$ an hour..

£50 profit on horses tonight

oh nice! Everytime I gamble... I lose...

yeah i lost to at times - was in liverpool didn't want to go to bookies - but a friend wanted to go - ended up wasting 9 quid in there just waiting around for this guy - was annoyed

today when i was betting on the horses - lost 1st race (a fiver) and second race (6 quid) then put 9 quid on next race on a short odds favourite who looked like he was going to be crowded out of the race - if he would have lost would have been 20 quid down and sad - he won though got back up 24 quid - had an each way for 5 quid on next race got money back had an each way on a 15/2 horse 3 e/w - which won which bolstered me and won the next race on similar odds 2.50 e/w - to take overall money won to 71 quid with 20 quid put in - had a 1 quid bet on next race but lost

though if you are going to bet (i like one every now and then) you'd do far better to bet on horses than on football - football betting odds are scandalously bad - the bookies are raking in on the current online betting fad. - odds are terrible

i know shit all about horses and know a bit about football but still u do better when betting on horses - cos football odds are so poor

... but again it's not really the answer - just like a flutter every now and then

Had another 9 day work stretch, so with 4 days OT cut off from last week, plus 4 days OT this week... with the 5 days of regular hours will make for one epic cheque, and one epic secret haul.

Hah yeah if I was batting, it probs wouldnt be on the horses, (sept the grand National lol) purely because I know fuck all about em. I've bet on the football before but generally been unlucky. I don't have extensive knowledge about football either tbf, next time I have a wee bet I might just try the horses anyway.
