Did anyone get volume 1? I'm wondering what they're like compared to the original Creatures line.

I have the whole set from the first volume. Compared to the original Creatures line, the Kai set is bigger (almost twice as large; I'll take some photos of my FF collection and post them up along with the creatures for you to see sometime soon) and I feel the detail is also alot better. I actually like the Kai set better.

As you can see, the Kai ones are bulkier overall.

I just like Summon, that was you don't have to remember and worry about pronouncing the names every time SE want to give the summons a different name! But this "Gee Eff" sounds pretty easy

at least there's voice acting now to base things on.. back then there'd be arguments on whether its See-Dee or plain Seed; or Masa-myun/Masa-moon/Masa-moo-neh..

I still prefer Tie-dus over Tee-dus though

Well I just got kai creatures vol 1 and I must say their size is utterly dissapointing >_>; Dont know what creatures you compared them with and came out bigger but Mateus (from old creatures line) is three times bigger than zalera who actually has his wing upwards in vertical position!! They are a wee bigger than a trading arts line and definately feel like trading arts

They are meant to be Trading Arts as they came in blind boxes in Japan. I tink everyone was comparing them to the original Creatures line, not the Master Creatures.

I always said See-Dee even though I pretty much knew it was meant to be Seed... and I was ridiculued by my friends for it. Lol. Ugh why dissidia... Tee-Dus indeed.

I refuse to say Tee-dus. Now, and always... when they first said it in KH it ruined X for me. As for Bahamut, I'm glad it's actually how it should sound, and not actually myth lore "baha-moot".

I first heard Teedus before FFX came out on a trailer so even though I thought TIdus sounded cooler, I guess I was already use to Teedus.

Yeah, ditto, the trailer on TSW soundtrack or DVD or something called him Tee-dus, so that's what I always called him.

Really? I thought they always abstained from saying his name until KH rolled around... as for Ifrit... I thought it was If-rit.... no e. >_>

Ifrit is "ee-freet", I only know that because it's a creature I've been obsessed with since I was a child. As for Tidus, I heard in an interview before X came out that it was "tee-dis" like in Dissidia. Zidane I pronounced like the dog, great dane... didn't know they'd throw a French spin on it... bleh.


Saw the new Creatures line at Chosen One out east. Love 'em. Same place I got my minis and my set of 13 figures (with the exception of Light). I'm stoked that we get a Terra figure!

You think they'll do what they did with Vol and only package them in sets of 5? I couldn't find a set of 6 anywhere for Vol 1. It was either Terra or...Tiamat? Never both in a set. Made buying em a bit of a pain. =/

Also not huge on Chaos tho.. might skip on him and just get the other 5, stoked on those.
